The DOLPHIN LAB offers advice on the feeding management of marine mammals. This involves both captive and stranded, adult and neonate marine mammals.

On special request, we use this site to publish a report of Duisburg Zoo on feeding management in bottlenose dolphins.

Food quality evaluation

As a part of feeding management, we offer the quality evaluation of fish used for feeding marine mammals.

Tests include (among others):

protein, fat, energy content

several heavy metals (totals)

vitamin content

peroxidase

on special request: PCB, DDT, DDE, other OC
